it wouldn't be christmas eve without a live nativity. this year was super special... we even had a "live" baby jesus, nemo and a boy in a batman cape.

Mom: Jake, why are you wearing your spiderman suit under your clothes?
Jake: In case there's trouble.
(as Jake goes to preschool, his teacher asks how he's doing and he gives a wry smile and quickly lifts up his shirt show his costume and set her mind at ease for the day--no bad guys will dare bother them)

William: Mom, why can't I just stay home. I just need to rest...and relax...and rewind.

Jake: Mommy you are mean instead of nice.

William: Dad, does everything I do have a little bit of awesomeness in it?
